For the past several weeksw I have been refinishing the floor in the main entry.Five weeks ago I started a new stained glass window project. I decided to make a LARGE clock face to hang in my office window. I didn't want a standard "Big Ben" face, so I designed my clock face around the positions of the planets on the day I waqs born. It will be inredible when finished, but I expect it to take a while.

 Four weeks ago I took up the 50-year-old tile in the hall and, surprise surprise, uncovered a beautiful hardwood floor. A new quest was born! The clock face was shoved to the back burner so I could make the house beautiful and ultimately more saleable.

Today, the floor is finished. My partner, Jon, stenciled a gold vine border and is putting down a coat of polyurethane. I am back to cutting glass.
