It's amazing how fast time can pass, and how easily that which we want to do can be pushed aside to make way for "responsibilities."

I was very excited about ordering and receiving my Multi Tool Tile/Glass Cutter and Rotary Cutter the other day. I couldn't wait to get to my basement studio and see if it worked as well as the info segment on the Home Shopping Network. But things happened and I didn't get the opportunity. This weekend I felt sure I could spare an hour or two to cut some glass. I was wrong.

We're getting the house ready for a surprise birthday party for my mother, and I am amazed at just how unfinished this house is. I thought we could sweep the floors, put out decorative hand towels and soaps, and maybe do a little baking and we'd be all set.

We had to get rid of a couch, paint a bathroom, paint a hallway, BAKE, and CLEAN. The party isn't until next week (which probably means I can forget about using the glass cutter next week too).
