I certainly don't want to jinx myself, but the good news just keeps coming.

It started with my mom returning home from the hospital. Her heart is all cleaned up, thanks to to angioplasty, and though sore, her energy and health are improving.

Then I get a call from my partner to let me know that two of my larger carvings sold at the store. This is very exciting for me. I enjoy carving, and stained glass work. I put pieces in the store more to get them out of the house than anything. And people keep buying! It actually gives me hope for retirement. One day I'll just be an old man with a workshop and a cottage industry, supplementing my SS income.
