No, just stubborn.

This is an example of the same willpower that has prevented me from getting a haircut since September 2006. I had just clipped my hair to a uniform quarter-inch and remarked offhandedly that now I wouldn't need to get another haircut until March.

My hair grows fast and thick. It takes (and for the first time in my life I am not exaggerating) about 10 minutes to wash and then rinse all the shampoo out of my hair. Unfortunately, my hair does not grow in sexy tight curls, or even sensuous straight locks. No, my hair looks more like the back end of a wire-haired terrier. It can be trained with an ample supply of gel, but it's just not pretty.

Fortunately, I'm used to being not pretty.
