There are a few reasons I might have to move this blog from my "Things I Dislike" list to my "Things I Like" list on my website. I still dislike blogs in general, and I really dislike people who constantly say, "Have you read my blog today?", but my own blog is different.

How is it different? It's different in the way I approach it. First, I do not advertise it. I don't even make it easy to find. You have to actually work through my website to even find the word "blog." Once found, if you don't notice the change in color you probably won't see the word is a link. The other way it's different is I haven't told anyone I'm doing this.

No one.

This blog is for my use. I use it as a warm-up to my real writing. I use it to vent frustration and record random thoughts. I do not use it as a public forum.

"So why all the hyperlinks?" I ask myself. Because they're fun to do, I reply. And when I review my blog, I like to click on links I've embedded.

Screw you, it's fun.

This week I've done pretty well with the no-coffee no-sweets thing. Still no caffein in my system, but I did allow myself a piece of cake yesterday at an office celebration. I decided I just traded my upcoming Sunday treat for Wednesday instead. The penalty is I won't be able to have anymore sweets until a week from this Sunday.
